Natasha KrystynaIn Counselling
Are you struggling with anxiety or depression? Are you having difficulties with relationships or maintaining boundaries? Have you suffered a loss or trauma that you’re struggling to process? Are you struggling to manage your emotions; anger, sadness, loneliness? Sometimes those closest to us, aren’t able to help or understand… counselling can help by having someone there to support you without judgement and without advice.
Hello, my name is Natasha and I am a Therapeutic Counsellor. I currently work in private practice in Bradford and Leeds, I offer both online and face to face sessions. As well as working in general practice with a broad range of issues, I have worked in specialist organisations for sexual abuse and domestic abuse.
I understand how daunting and difficult it can be making the decision to start any form of therapy, particularly finding the right service or therapist for you so let me explain a little about myself and the way I work. My training is in the Person-Centred model, which means I offer a calm, confidential, non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. We all need some support at one time or another, someone to try understand what’s going on for us… quite often when making the decision to attend therapy we are unsure of what has brought us to this place, and that’s ok, we can work together, at your pace, exploring your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Sometimes, some of these are buried deep or locked away in our sub-conscience which is why we don’t always know why we think, feel or behave the way we do. Working with a trained therapist can help you to process and understand the things you are struggling with.
Depending on your needs, I offer both long and short term therapy, which we will review regularly to discuss how you are finding our work together; whether you feel that therapy is benefiting you, if you feel we’re sufficiently focused on your goals or if you feel we need to do anything differently.
As well as ‘Person centred therapy’ being my core theoretical base, I work creatively to help with expression for those that struggle to always find the words to express themselves.
I am a member of the BACP and work in line with the BACP Ethical framework and have regular clinical supervision and CPD.
