Gemma is a registered nurse with a background of 18 years in mental health, disability, and older people’s services. She has a particular interest in holistic health, offering routine foot care, nail cutting, corn and callous removal, fungal nail treatment and diabetic footcare. Gemma also offers foot Reflexology alongside her practice to complement foot health, relax and re-balance whilst promoting physical and emotional wellbeing of her clients.

What Is Advanced Cryotherapy?

Advanced Cryotherapy is a medically approved, fast, effective, and safe solution for the removal of skin imperfections such as skin tags, seborrheic keratosis, warts, milia & verrucas. This procedure is carried out by Gem, in clinic as a NMC registered nurse.

Cryotherapy is minimally invasive and a pain-free solution.  Once the lesion is treated, it will take approximately 4-6 weeks for the lesion to disappear.  1-3 treatments may be required depending on severity.

Cosmetic procedures like these are rarely available on the NHS, however we understand the deeper impact of skin tags, seborrheic keratosis and warts can have on people’s confidence.

How Does Cryotherapy Work?

Cryotherapy works by using Nitrous Oxide to freeze the lesion, this cuts off the blood supply. The lesions will appear darker over time and eventually fall off. The process can take up to 6 weeks.

• At your Cryotherapy appointment, we will assess your skin complaint and recommend how many treatments you may need.
