Searching for an ADHD or Autism assessment can feel overwhelming, especially if you or your child have already had mixed opinions or unclear answers. You may be looking for someone who will truly listen, take your concerns seriously, and help you make sense of things in a clear, supportive way.
I am a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist providing comprehensive, NHS-standard assessments for ADHD and Autism in children (aged 5 and over), adolescents, and adults. My assessments are widely accepted and can be used to support:
- EHCP applications and school-based support
- University and workplace adjustments
- Reasonable accommodations in education or employment
- Referral to a psychiatrist for consideration of ADHD medication, if appropriate
Many of the people I work with have spent years feeling misunderstood or wondering why daily life feels more difficult than it seems to for others. My role is to create a space where you feel heard and respected. I take a whole-person approach, exploring not only areas of difficulty but also strengths, personality, and lived experience.
The Assessment Process
Every assessment is detailed, individualised, and carried out with care. The process typically includes:
- A thorough developmental and background history
- Use of gold-standard diagnostic tools aligned with NHS practice
- Information from school or other professionals where relevant
- Consideration of strengths alongside challenges
- A comprehensive written report with clear, practical recommendations
The aim is not just to reach a diagnosis, but to provide meaningful guidance that supports everyday life at home, in education, and at work.
Ongoing Support for Neurodivergent Individuals
Alongside assessments, I offer therapy for neurodivergent children, young people, and adults. Sessions are adapted to suit neurodivergent thinking and communication styles and may help with:
- Anxiety, low mood, and emotional regulation
- Burnout and sensory overwhelm
- Self-esteem and identity development
- Managing school, work, and relationships
My therapeutic work is strengths-focused, practical, and affirming of neurodivergent identity.
